Stevia - Hard to Grow?

They say Stevia is hard to grow from seed, and the germination rate is low.  Looking good from my point of view. 

Plan B

What to do if the first (too early) crop fails? Go to plan B. These micro blocks were created with a 20 block 3/4 inch soil blocker.  You only have to transplant those that don't germinate.  They save a lot of space - initially. 

New Garden

Freshly tilled. The bottom half (left) was tilled for the first time last fall (after 20 years of no garden, planted with Winter rye last fall). The top half was tilled for the first time today.
